"Born & bred in SA. I  grew up on the deep Southside.
My Dad worked Civil Service at Kelly AFB as an aircraft mechanic. My Mom was a domestic Goddess."

"3 siblings.  Rice for Undergrad. UT Law. Then back to SA!"

"Married 14 years. We have a step daughter who is a 3rd year medical student. Two  beauriful beagles, Desi & Ruby. One double yellow headed parrot named Bella. My husband is a former Professional Rodeo Clown  &  Bull Rider.  We love to fish and we love our Spurs!!!"

"I've been a trial lawyer my entire career.  Over 30 years. The courtroom is my second home. Besides criminal trial work as both Prosecutor & Defense, Civil Litigation as both Plaintiff and Defense Attorney I've practiced Family Law for over 15 years."
 
"I am proud  to have been   appointed by local district judges to serve as an Amicus Attorney for children involved in divorces, modifications & original Suits Affecting Parent Child Relationship."

"Since 1999 I've served as Adjunct Professor of Trial Advocacy at St. Mary's Law School essentially teaching future lawyers how to try a case before a jury."

"Proudly selected to be a member of ABOTA (American Board of Trial Advocates) and former President of the local SA Chapter. It's membership nationwide consists of civil trial attorneys from both plaintiff and defense who have tried a certain number of jury trials but also sustain high level of ethics and civility. I am  1 of only 6 female attorneys in the local chapter."

"My intent is to use my 30+ years of legal experience, including over 100 jury trials   as a trial lawyer, having represented plaintiffs and defendants, along with 15 years of family law litigation experience to provide a level playing field to all parties. I will seek to  encourage civility in the courtroom and support trial by jury to those who request it."
